Board of Governors

The Phi Chapter Board of Governors (BOG) is made up of chapter alumni and faculty members. Their primary purpose is in the areas of scholarship and finance, but more importantly hold the chapter accountable to policy and goal setting. The BOG’s primary goal is to see the chapter thrive and become as successful as possible. The BOG help in areas of financial delinquency and inappropriate conduct of brothers. The board helps the chapter enforce policies that have already been adopted by the chapter. Peer accountability is ideal; however the board is there to support the officers’ ability to enforce policy.

Besides monthly meetings throughout the semester, chapter officers and BOG should meet/communicate/report to their counterparts on a regular basis. One phone call or email a week can go far in maintaining a good relationship and also garnering positive advice from the BOG.
